Parents Resources
Practical tools for connected parenting in the digital age
Guides, conversation starters, recommended reading, and support services to help you build stronger emotional connections with your children — whether they're 8 or 14.

Quick-start guide for parents
New to MoodSpace? These four steps will help you and your child get the most out of daily check-ins from day one.
01
Start together
Sit down with your child and set up MoodSpace together. Explain it as a shared family habit, not something being done to them.
02
Keep it light
Don't interrogate moods. A simple "Thanks for checking in" or a heart emoji is enough. The goal is consistency, not depth — depth comes later.
03
Watch for patterns
Kids often feel a lot before they can explain it. Daily mood check-ins give them a safe vocabulary to name feelings without needing perfect words.
04
Celebrate the habit
Use the reward system to acknowledge consistency. The habit of checking in matters more than any single response.
Resources to support your family
Practical guides covering the topics parents ask about most — from screen time to emotional development to navigating difficult conversations.
